Never used this camera so cannot be of much help - Istorm might be able to help you, he comes on these forums a fair bit so may pick this up.
From the pdf I found on google it looks like a good quality 4-48mm zoom camera, although not it's not meant for low light or dark conditions as it has a min. illumination of 6 lux. If it's just to monitor your shed then you'll probably be better off with a static, weatherproof infrared camera. The zoom camera could work really well but you'llhave to set up some lighting in your garden to be able to get decent footage back at night - maybe some PIR security lighting (will come on when movement is sensed).

Its a low res camera in all honesty pushing just over 460 tvl , as pakatak has pointed out its low light level is .6 lux which is pritty dismal, it is I.R sensative but if you got it cheap i dont see the point in spending £70.00 on a lamp, maybe set it on auto iris wire it up to some form of recorder and add some security lighting to help it see in the dark! But NOT 500w Halogens, if its wet the lights will just bounce back of the mirrored floor and white the camera out, i recommend some 150 watts set above the camera as if its day light coming from above, hope this helps...
