Default what type of camera

Hi guys
i have been asked to change a camera in one of my mates off license at present he has a day/night dome camera about 3 mtrs from floor level installed
the prob with it is doesnt see enough and items that are say 2-3mtrs away you cant make them out that well everything seems further away the lens was adjusted but the more zoom the less pic hopefully you no what i mean

i am looking for a camera has to be a dome preferbly and day night that would give a more bigger picture the door to the shop is 5-6 mtrs away but would like a camera that would see the person entering as clear as day and as true a pic as possible also has to take in a wide area well as much as we can get in

is there a camera anyone could recomend price isnt a prob

cheers guys

What you are looking for is a 'big' megapixel camera, but you are probably better off fitting a second camera.

Don't forget to ensure the system is fit for puprose and in installed in line with the Data Protection Act.
