Question Help! 1 Wireless security camera and 3 monitors/tv in seperate rooms

Hey there people,

I am fairly new to this whole security camera set up and need some assistance/knowledge if this is possible, and if so how do i create one?

Pretty much i have 3 separate rooms and would like it to show what's on the 1 wireless camera at the same time. Is there such thing? I figured that most likely i will need 3 different receivers but that would be very expensive. Is there anything that would be cost efficient for this question? Hope somebody can assist!! *crossing fingers*

What sort of wireless cameras do you have? Are you talking wireless IP or simple 2.4GHz cameras?

If it's a 2.4GHz camera then standard 2.4GHz receivers to connect to a TV are not expensive....around £30 a go.

Simplest way would be to use 3 seperate 2.4GHz receivers in my opinion, one linked to each of the monitors you want to view on.

Do the monitors have phono (yellow, red & white) input sockets or a scart input? (either way a standard 2.4GHz receiver will connect fine).

Nothing has been purchased yet, reason being is that i wanted to know if this is possible to do.

Thanks for the advise, now next question is what brands and models do you recommend? and do they sell 2.4 reciever's seperately?

cheers

No problem at all. You will find many companies out there selling the receivers both with and without cameras. Just do a google search.

Here is our one : 2.4GHz Standard Receiver Kit --- Pakatak - Spy Camera, Hidden Camera, Wireless Camera: Security Cameras UK

Yes, we do but you may better advised to find a supplier in North America as our equipment is all set to the PAL TV system, whereas in Canada and the US NTSC is used.
