Default Favorite Movie

Since this is off topic chat, let's lighten it up a little. What is your favorite movie of all time?

Mine is Goodfellas.

Well sadly I dont have just ONE favorite movie. At the moment, I have two. Rent and Memoirs of a Geisha. They are really really good and very moving.

CPilcher: If you like moving stuff, rent Ordinary People with Mary Tyler Moore, Donald Sutherland and Timothy Hutton. It was directed by Robert Redford. I would put that in my top 5 flicks of all time.

I'm sad in that I'd probably have to opt for Star Wars. The impact as a kid simply isn't rivalled.

For crime films I think I'd have to opt for "Once upon a time in America" - probably my favourite De Niro film,

Brian: Why would you be sad about that? Star Wars is a classic movie.

Classic movie indeed - but not one everyone may agree it's worthy of a favourite.

My favourite is probably 12 Angry Men. I prefer films that concentrate on the subject instead of moving around so much. This film is just perfectly done.

12 Angry Men is a great film. Did you ever see "The Breakfast Club?" The entire movie takes place in one day in one school room.

Breakfast Club I remember as a good film. Used to like some of those "brat pack" movies.
