Pentagon release 9/11 video

The Pentagon have released security camera footage of the plane strike on the Pentagon:

I'm not convinced this really answers any questions - is there any definite view of the plane before it hits?

And why don't they release the other camera footage of the strike?

What I really don't understand is why US authorities think there's a security reason in not showing one public building being hit (the Pentagon), yet it's fine to show another public building (WTC) being hit.

Does this really address anything?

Think about it. If it wasn't that airplane that hit the Pentagon, where did it go? It would be close to impossible to have an entire flight dissapear without any kind of trace. There's more of a chance that OJ Simpson didn't kill his wife, then there is that that plane didn't hit Pentagon.

Indeed, but there are plenty of other people pointing out the lack of plane wreckage at the Pentagon site.

I have to say, I have no reason to doubt a plane hitting the Pentagon unless proven otherwise, but the US authorities have sure helped stir the conspiracy theorists by apparently removing from public view any evidence of the plane flight into the building.

It is possible that the hijacked plane was taken somewhere else and the people on the flight are wherever the plane is. The lack of plane debris is curious, as is why no one is seeing any footage of the crash like we have seen come from the WTC buildings.

I would be interested in knowing why we cannot see that footage...when I tried to follow that link I got a message telling me the requested page cannot be found.

What I do not understand is why keep everything under wraps? (Well - unless there is something to be hidden, in which case it will come out in the end, so why not just be up front about it and get it over with?)
