If I had a wireless camera or 2 set up at home, could I view this somehow from my work computer?
Im really new when it comes to all this, but there are things i'd like to keep an eye on whilst at work, is it possible? |

I hear about people doing this all the time and remember a case of a couple who suspect a nanny of child abuse. It was how they ultimately caught her in the act.
Unless it involves children or a possible ongoing problem with someone creeping around your house, I think it's a little weird for me. I'd prefer a good alarm system and locks unless it were those cases. I can't get beyond the Big Brother thing. |

However, whether your work computer will allow such a connection is another thing - lots of offices these days have very strong firewalls in place that will restrict net access to even the simplest things - even viewing or posting to an online forum. |

I know it is possible to do that. We set up a camera security system at home because we were having problems with our son. I know my husband set it up so that you could go online and check it out. It also recorded and you could go back and see what was going on throughout the day. I can't remember where he got the cameras but I know he got them from somewhere online. If I remember where I will let you know.
