Well, I assume that you could always put them on the windows frame on the inside and let they lie there, would be easy to remember where you put them

I could just see myself losing the key too, though slashmire is correct, suppose you could leave the key right next to the window - just one more thing to lose though eh? lol

I have window locks on my house and they work I locked myself out of my house and had to call my husband so he could let me back in I tried every window and could not get into any of them, I guess thats a good thing.

I have never heard of keyed window locks until now. We just have the regular locks that turn on our windows. However we do make sure and keep them locked. It's hard to feel safe in this world these days. You have to lock everything.

Losing your keys is like a nightmare. It happened with me once and I will never forget that. It is always better to keep keys in a place where it is easier to find.

Everything around the house that any person could access to go in should all have locks and should remained lock for protection purposes.
