Is it fair that they won't let you bring a book and take it through security, but they'll let you buy one at an expensive airport kiosk and take it on board???
I fear this is a trend that will last. of course the retailers love it!!!! |

I understood the reasoning for not allowing people to carry things through when the alert was first raised.
But I don't believe it's logical that you can get anything from a book to a pen knive to goodness knows that beyond security. I'm just happy that I don't have any travel planned at this point in time. |

Last time I was on a plane I travelled somewhat "gothed up" - that meant big black leather and metal boots, and trousers with silver buckles all the way down each leg.
Security weren't so keen, so this time I'll fly normal and just get dressed up when I arrive. ![]() I've got time to shower and change before the convention this time anyway... ![]() |
