Do you lock your doors?

Every area that I live I had to lock my doors. I am not saying I lived in bad areas all my life but there had been some shady activities went on like burgular and theft.

I use to not lock anything, I felt safe at home, but it has gotten so that I lock everything up and then double check it. LOL

I always lock our doors. I cannot go to sleep unless they are locked. In this day and age it really doesn't matter anymore as much on where you live. Crime seems to happen even in the most upscale communities. Better to be safe than sorry is the way I look at it.

I lock out of habit ...from living in Manhattan for years ...but I like living in an area where the windows downstairs can stay open at night. It's worth the price of real estate. Oh, but I have dogs too lol.

I find that I lock my car doors in the driveway but dont lock my house door when home. If someone ever decided to walk in i dont know what i would do either. I really should get in the habit of locking the door.

I have slacked off a little on locking the door when I am home since we moved to a rural community. But, at night, it is always locked up and I keep the car locked.

I just lock my doors as a personal habit, I don't think burglars would be interested in what I do have anyway

The doors are locked at night. I live in a top floor apartment with 3 locked doors before my home.

I am in the habit of locking the car doors and all the doors when I am at home. While I live in a relatively nice area of town, no place is exempt from sticky fingers.

If somebody wants to break in while I am at home, I want to make sure they have to work hard enough that they make some noise. That will give me time to grab the cell, call the police, and do what I can to see to my safety.

Yes, quite right, theorically, I'm sure that a simple lock is no match for the experienced crook, but they just simply don't want to loiter for too long either.

Myhusband is always telling me to lock the doors he is very good about it me on the other hand see that we live in a safe middle class neiborhood and I feel safe so I must admit I do not do it, thank goodness he keeps me on my toes, because you never do know.
