Having worked on political advertising, I understand why they are doing them ...it's a close election year ...and while you usually do some negative ads just in case you need them, you usually don't air them. To me, it just shows how desperate the situation is. But, I think some of them are turning people off completely and there may be a lot fewer people even going to the polls.

That is exactly what I am afraid is going to happen. I have already heard comments that people are not going to vote this year because they are just sick and tired of the whole election controversies this year. Me I may be sick of it but you can bet I will cast my vote. I just hope that I am picking the right ones.

yeah, they're all corrupt. they have no other option. they do have to get their 'return on investment', as I like to put it. they spend tons of money on elections, or their sponsors do. and they'd have to return favors afterward..
