Tazer guns?

How do you guys feel about the police using these? I seen a show on this not to long ago. I feel this is a good alternative for the police. I wonder if they will ever have them for the general public?

You can buy them now ...just look them up online. They're everywhere.
I think it's an okay replacement for bullets in some cases, but I don't think they'll ever replace pistols.

Thank you, I was not aware that you could buy them already. I think it is definently better than carrying a gun. I know I would feel better carrying this than a gun.

Well, it's at least more legal (in some places) than carrying a gun. Just be sure of what you want it to do and that it has the power to do it.

I am basically looking for something that will protect me when I am alone. I just feel better knowing that I have something. Right now I have nothing.

I really believe this is a good way to go. It is much more effective with wild people during times where pepper spray won't work.

I'd definitely buy one of these but I've never seen any at a store locally.

tasers are definately the way to go. And some even have a laser sight to aid in aiming.

Do you guys think that a tazer can give people a false sense of security? Especially if they don't know how to use guns in the first place?

I don't know I guess it could give you a false sense of security. But then again I am just not one to carry a gun so this would just work better for me.
