Default safety jacket

I think I mentioned this before, but here is some more detailed info, there is a safety jackets that will give off electric shocks to anyone attacking you:

Developed as a personal safety device, this wearable defensive jacket is manufactured from an exo-electric fabric armour which, in the event of being physically attacked will interfere with the assailant’s neurological impulses – resulting not only in a particularly painful non-lethal shock but involuntary spasms, complete loss of orientation and loss of balance, thus affording you valuable time to make good your escape.

what do you think?

The only thing with this is that I'd be concerned about it going off by accident, either with family/friends or in crowds.

Still, one way to get through the Christmas shoppers.

Seems kind of gimmicky to me, and I can't think of a use for the jacket myself. Where would someone need such a piece of equipment?????

I agree that it might be kind of bad. I guess it would depend on how sensitive it was and how much force it would take to activate it. I guess if you worked somewhere late at night you could wear it when going to your car alone.

It seems to be a good protection but there are risks attached to which is already being discussed here. I would also add that there might be chances of malfunctioning.

LOL, there is that, isn't there?

But on the other hand, it sounds ideal for a blind date that is not going well.
