Widest wireless footage

I am thinking of installing a wireless system , but my house is secluded and about 500 feet from the road is there a camera that will go down my driveway that far so I could monitor the diveway and the house along with my three out buildings we have 5 acreas of land so there is a lot of coverage area needed.

I'm sure it shouldn't be a problem at all - either set up a couple of cameras for different angle (could be a good idea to cover the entire front of the house) or else a single camera staring straight up.

But if it's the entire 5 acres you'd want to cover then definitely some kind of multi-camera system.

Whereabouts are you located - USA or UK? I'll try and recommend a couple of companies you could approach for a solution if you wanted.

Yes the cameras has to be set up properly at the correct positions. Once they are positioned properly I don't think the connectivity part will be a problem.

We are also a long way off the road, and haven't really felt a need for a camera system. Also, it's rural, wooded, and if someone bad wanted to get on the property, they could avoid the road and get here anyway.
What we did install was a car-tel system which alerts us in the house when a car or person has turned into the driveway. Works great and gives some advance warning on people who just drop in.
