lol! yes, my peephole is broken. When I moved in here, the part on the inside is missing its lens. Now I feel like the people on the other side are looking at me instead of me looking at them.
This is on my list of things to repair. Gosh, everyday it's something new and you can't get to the old stuff! I'm going to replace it with one of those that has a superscope view on it and they are inexpensive at less than 20.00 dollars. A must have! |

I like peepholes, but it is good to remember that while you can look out and see people, they can still look in as if looking through the wrong end of a pair of binoculars - so do remember to slip on a little something before you walk in front of the door.

I would prefer a window in my door but unfortunately we don't have one. Peep holes are the second best thing. I hate opening the door not being able to see who is out there. Our peep hole broke and I hate not having it. I try to look out the side window but sometimes its difficult to see who is there if they are standing close to the door

I'd prefer to have a large peep hole but you could close it if you are not using it. If they cover up the peep hole, then don't open your door, it's that easy. And if you don't know the person, don't open the door for them as well. talk to them through the peep hole.
