Firewall is a program that block the unauthorised access of your computer. It is very important if you have broadband internet connection such as DSL or cable modem. Windows XP has inbuilt firewall. Make sure that it is on while entering internet.

Like Antivirus Firewalls are also a must install product in our system. They prevent all sorts of possible attacks including hacking attempts.

What kind of firewall does everyone use? I just use a free zone alarm program. Is this sufficient?
