Default Backup your data

Always make copies of your files. Your computer may damage, or stolen. Doing this, is very important, for atleast once a week.

This is going to sound very stupid on my part. But I have heard this but I have no clue on how to do it. I have some idea but not sure if it is right. Is there some site that could give me more information on this? Thank you.

Thank you so much. I had forgotten that I had even asked that. I have been wanting to know how to do this for awhile now. Thanks again for the link.

There is an easy solution too. If you do not have a flash drive just buy one of the capacity which seems to be fit for you. Then copy the files from your hard disk to the flash drives.

Yep, the flash drives work just fine. I currently copy my stuff onto a disk every week anyway, just for the sake of knowing if the computer blows up tomorrow, all my stuff is intact.

I really need to take some time to do that also. I would be devastated if something happened to my computer because I would lose everything including a lot of pictures

Also, keep in mind that if you are in the middle of a project that needs to be completed and you lose power, you can always grab your disk or flash drive and head to a friends house and finish your project on time.

Someone told me of a website you can go to and download a backup system. It is called Carbonite and I have heard a lot of positive things about it. I think I am going to go check it out.
