Default Heart Attack

Not too long ago I saw on the late night news about some things that are used for personal safety or self defense, and this little hand held type dagger fit on your knuckles like brass knucks but had a two inch blad on it and you are supposed to slam your attacker in the chest with it. It is called the heart attack. It was scarey and I cannot believe that they sell something like that. viscious!

Ouch...well I guess that it would work as self-defense, seems a bit over-the-top though....

Is there any specific techinque to use the device? I mean, one must know how to use it properly. Can a normal person do that easily? This will be a great help against any attack and it will give the precious time to reach safety and avoid further attacks.

I would think that something like this would require some sort of a permit to carry, as well as require some training to use. I don't particularly like the idea that anyone get pick one up - it could be used to attack someone as well as fight off an attack.

Hmm yes, I wonder the legality of those "defensive objects;" I assume they would fall in a category very similar to knife or blunt objects.
