A friend of mine, a man (sorry guys, but I have to say this: your testosterone gets you into trouble sometimes) had a scary experience a couple of days ago.
He was driving and some nutcase flew by him and cut him off. Now I know we all hate when that happens, but my friend decided to be cute, passed the guy, and cut him off in turn. NOT a smart thing to do to someone who is obviously unbalanced. The nut followed him to his place of work and actually chased him into the building where security called the police. Before they could get there, the nut ran off, but not before he wrote down my friend's license plate number. Now my friend is scared that this nut is going to track him down at home, come back to his workplace with a gun, all sorts of unpleasant scenarios. So remember, folks, no matter how mad you are at another driver, it's never worth it to retaliate. If you think they're a danger, get out your cell phone and call the police. Otherwise, don't risk your life over a dimwit who can't drive! |

I've phoned in people a few times when they're weaving in and out at high speeds. I decided it wasn't worth it.
The ones I hate are the tail gaters who I do play some games with. Don't mess with a Land Rover with huge brush guards ...I won't get as hurt as the other guy lol. |

Yeah, drivers do all kinds of things that make me crazy. And my favorite bumper sticker of the moment is, "I wonder if you'd drive any better if that cell phone were jammed down your throat." (I've also seen less polite versions that I won't repeat here
) I don't do the road rage thing anymore though. I figure it's not worth my life. If I see someone driving crazy, I get as far out of their way as possible, and if it's really bad, I call 911 (American emergency number). I figure that's what the police get paid to handle. |

This time of year we get a lot of motorcycles around here because it's scenic, hilly, windy roads and they love it. Those things make me so mad ...they pass you at twice the speed limit, come over the yellow line on curves, etc. I know some bikers are nice guys but how about sharing the damned road too!?

I hear you. The way some motorcyclists drive just makes me cringe. And even though we have helmet laws where I live, not eveyone follows them. I think before someone gets a license to drive a motorcycle, they should have to spend an entire weekend in a busy ER. That might settle them down a little on the road.

You ever see the ones that are doing wheelies down the middle of the road. I seen this just the other day. Literally some moran was passing someone on the wrong side of the road while doing a wheelie no less.

Oh MY! That is truly horrifying! I can't imagine if that were to happen to me, but then again I don't think I would have retaliated either. I think that your friend should most certainly keep a look out and be careful not to be alone...
