Default Security while working late

Does anyone else get nervous about working late (i.e., past the time when everyone else has left the building)?

I work at a hospice in a so-so neighbourhood, and I worry sometimes that someone will think we have drugs on site (we don't, we order them from the pharmacy and they are delivered directly to patient's homes) and try to break in. So far it's never happened, but I still get a twinge of anxiety when I have to stay late or go into the office at night for some reason.

I would recommend you enter maybe with an other member staff or even a family member.

Or you could install CCTV or what Scottish Government Workers are doing is where they call Someone to say " I am on site could you call me back in 30min" and then you know someone is aware your on site and if you don't answer or call back maybe means someone to go out and see what is going on.
