When a police officer friend of mine is asked for home security tips, he always responds by saying, "If you were locked out of your house, could you break in?"
Most people say yes. They have an extra key hidden somewhere, or a lock that can be easily jimmimed, or whatever. The he says, "If YOU can break into your home, an experienced thief certainly could." I think that's a pretty good point, and it usually makes people stop and think about their home security. |

You know I never thought of it that way but this is so true. I know of at least one way to get into my home. I think I will have to be changing that now that I seen this. Very good point.
