Is anyone else following the new NASA scandal?

Actually, I have to have some sympathy with the astronauts on this one. It would take more than a couple of beers to get me into a space shuttle!

I have heard the story, and I wonder if this has been going on for nearly 50 years.

I have heard the story but think it's a "non-issue". They aren't driving cars and they aren't caring for passengers. I say let NASA take care of it on their own.

O.k I forgot to look this one up. But I am thinking that if they were drinking on the job something should be done. I am going to go look for an article on this because I am really not sure what happened and I really cannot comment any further without seeing it first.

If it has then apparently it hasn't been a problem. What do you think the ulterior motives might be in the news making a big deal about this?

There is no evidence. Even the person who started this rumor will not give their name or any credibility to the claim. They refused to say who or when. It could have been way back in the 50's or 60's.

The claim is being investigated but it will probably come out as someone trying to discredit the space programs so they can channel our tax money to save some tree frog in the antarctic or something stupid like that.
