Pros & Contras IP CCTV and Non PC Based DVR system

Could anybody help me in this issue Pros and Contra Advanatges & Disadvantages of IP CCTV and Non PC Based DVR system ?.

Could we get IP CCTV with the same picture quality with DVR system, especially with we have bandwith issue here ?

Could we view the Non PC based DVR system from several remote areas ?

Non PC based DVR we called stand-alone DVR, with LAN port, support user view the live video through IE browser. IP camera also can work well that view the live video through IE, but without recording. the picture quality will very depend on the bandwith and the compression (H.264, MPEG4 or M-JPEG) format. Currently we can find some IP camera support SD card with motion detect recording functioin.

For remote access, the image quality of IP CCTV and DVR system all depend on bandwidth, If your bandwidth is not very satifying, you can adjust the bitrate of internet transimission, or to say, to adjust the image quality that will be transmitted via internet.

With stand alone DVR system, it is available to view several areas remotely. Currently, with Netvision IP camera, it supports IE browser，local recording （SD card）
