Unhappy Altera Acex Chipset DVR Software

Hi, I have recently been given 2 16CH DVR's but all the HDD's are dead.

The units are generic looking, no badges on the cases or on any of the input cards. I have done a bit of research and it looks like the input cards (from Asia) are widely used. What I can't find is anybody who admits to using these cards so I can try and locate some software. Seems a shame to write them off. The chipsets on the cards are: ALTERA ACEX EP1K100FC484-3, 2 cards, one is a P16-5000C which has watchdog reset connections and the other is a P16-5000V.

Has anybody come across these before? Many thanks.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that specific chipset, but if they're pretty generic, it may be worth trying a good distributor who may be able to help.

One I've worked with before is Pakatak: Pakatak Security & Surveillance Products - so see if they can be of any help to you.
